Newcomers find Nativity as Mount Vernon's center for interfaith opportunities, supported by congregations who find synergy with our house of worship. For instance, we are home to some pretty diverse congregations, spanning from South American Pentecostal all the way to West African Evangelical. Our doors are open to everyone.
Some 500 years ago, it was reformation which established our faith -- in modern times, we at Nativity see this era as one of transformation. When you come to Nativity, you'll find a great deal of excitement. We recognized the difficulties churches and religions face in modern day society
Parents schedules are more compact than ever. Children are given greater responsibilities earlier. Computers, online distractions and the impacts of social pressures are more prevalent. Sound familiar? That's why at Nativity we're seizing these times in our lives by striving to provide the community with a new approaches to modern-day worshiping.
You'll find Nativity unlike most churches on the Fort Hunt Road corridor. We're listening for what is needed most and we're working hard to transform ourselves with creative and exciting new programs -- but, we're only able to do so with the involvement of new folks like you. It's your spiritual needs, your families developmental priorities and the place you would like to take in our community that drives how Nativity evolves into the future.
All the benefits that we enjoy at our church are based on our commitment to Jesus Christ as our Savior, and the Word of God as our guidebook. When you commit your life to Christ, you enter a special relationship with God that enables you to face life’s problems and bear them with his aid and the help of his people.
We sincerely hope you’ll look further into what makes our church what it is. We welcome you to share the joy that we’ve found.
